mota-lab is owned and operated by desmoworks LLC. When mota-lab is referenced in this site it is understood that mota-lab is a dba of desmoworks LLC.

Our website specifies current stock levels on each product page. If an item is out of stock an ETA will be given if we have a solid estimate. If no ETA is available the text "contact us" will appear and you may contact us to discuss availability. By checking out with items out of stock you agree to the backorder status. We will supply back ordered items as quickly as possible. Availability is subject to change at any time. We suggest contacting us before placing an order to verify stock on rush orders.

We ship exclusively with UPS and offer several of their services during the checkout process such as ground, second day, next day, etc...

We ship to the exact address you specify during the checkout process. If for any reason UPS cannot deliver the package either due to incorrect address, the inability to obtain a signature or any other reason and the proper information cannot be obtained by UPS the package will be returned to us at your expense. If a resolution cannot be achieved the order will be canceled and a refund issued minus a 25% restocking fee and all associated shipping charges.

We only accept returns on items in the original, uninstalled and unused condition and packaging. We access a 25% restocking fee on all returns except in the case of a warranty return.

If you wish to return an item you have already received YOU MUST CONTACT US to obtain a return authorization. Any items sent without prior acknowledgment from us will be returned to you freight collect, no exceptions. Please allow 7-10 days for refunds to be completed.

It is possible to cancel an order at any time until it has shipped from our facility. If the items were special ordered specifically for you a 25% restocking fee will be assessed.

By purchasing though our site you are agreeing that you will accept terms and conditions set forth on this page. We support transactions via PayPal major credit cards through a secure, on-line, real-time credit card processing system. As well, we accept major credit cards through our secure site including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. This is the standard method of purchase. The charge will appear on your statement as desmoworks LLC (our parent company).

Unless specifically designated otherwise by the manufacturer, all products sold by mota-lab are assumed to be designed and manufactured strictly for racing applications or incorporation on street machines which are used for racing. They are not intended for street use, and some products may, in some localities, be illegal for use on the street. Motorcycle racing is a dangerous activity. While every effort has been made to ensure that products sold by mota-lab, are designed and manufactured to the highest possible quality standards, mota-lab, cannot assume responsibility for property damage or personal injury incurred by or concurrent with the use of the products, even if such damage or injury is the direct result of the failure of the product sold by mota-lab.

mota-lab assumes individuals performing the installation of its products to be certified professional motorcycle maintenance technicians or qualified race mechanics, who can make the judgments and adjustments which may be necessary in the installation process, and which cannot be anticipated by the product manufacturer or mota-lab in advance, in order that the installation is a safe and proper one. mota-lab assumes no responsibility for damage or personal injury which may be caused by the manner in which products sold are installed.

If you use products sold by mota-lab, you use them at your own risk. We want you to be healthy, to ride safely, and enjoy a long lifetime of motorcycling. Please do not use any product if you are uncertain of your ability to properly install it.
